Mac Email Android Keeps Asking For Password
There are actually two different pop-ups you may encounter with this issue in iOS, the wording is either “Apple ID Verification – Enter the password for (Apple ID) in Settings” or “Apple ID Password – The password for (Apple ID) needs to be updated.” in both cases, you’ll have an option to go to “Settings” and to “Sign In”. Outlook for Mac keeps asking for the password Sometimes a minor gap in quality control, such as the lack of proper upgrade testing can have annoying consequences. The problem “Microsoft Outlook 2016 for Mac keeps asking for password” has been around for since March of 2016.
Did you deactivate the previous app specific key after assigning a new one? This happens to me occasionally, but not nearly as often as you describe. Id say maybe once a year. I recently had to reassign an app specific password for mail and after doing so, i deleted the one that was previously generated, and haven't had an issue since.

I've found that even deleting the email account from the old keychain does not resolve the problem. I have diagnosed this down to what is clearly a bug - either in Mail (I suspect it is mail) or keychain. On my system, the Mail/Keychain bug prevents me from saving a password into Mail settings. Mail seems to magically delete a previously entered password despite repeatedly entering it over and over again. Not until I remove the old keychain does the problem go away. I filed a bug report in mid Dec 2012 with Apple but as far as I can tell, nothing has been done yet - still early yet. Thanks for the suggestions Eric, but I mention in the previous thread that all keychains were verified with first aid and it reports no problems.
Any help will be greatly appreciated thank you. ColoradoHerbie 25/5/2011, 12:59 น.
If you have any network equipment (such as a router, bridge, or hardware firewall), check to see if it is blocking the Yahoo! POP and SMTP servers or ports. If you are unfamiliar with how to do this, please consult the product documentation or the manufacturer's support services directly. You may also contact your ISP for assistance.

That’s to say, you can restore your iPhone with or without backup. During the process, you can preview and selectively choose the data you prefer to restore, but not all files. In this way, you can not only restore the files you really want, but save storage space on device. And unlike traditional iTunes/iCloud way, it just takes a few minutes and 3 simple steps are needed to complete the entire process. Now let’s check it. Go to the and choose iOS Data Recovery to download on your computer > Connect your iPhone/iPad to the computer via its USB cable > Click Recover from iCloud mode.

Click on the drop-down menu next to it and select 'Edit Server List.' See what kind of authentication each of the servers listed there have, if its set to None, Password, MD5, whatever it may be. If it says None, switch it to password and fill in the fields for the username and password.
Thanks for any suggestions. You may come across the same annoying issue just like the above user that your iPad or iPhone keeps asking for password after an iOS version update, an app download, or while you are trying to use an application.

So, make sure you create a backup of your device before proceeding. You can sync your iPad to iCloud or iTunes. To sync your iOS device to iTunes, open iTunes on your computer (make sure you have the latest version of iTunes on your PC). After that, connect your iPad to your computer and select your iOS device in iTunes. Now just simply check the box next to sync with this iPad over Wi-Fi option.
It was giving me a Gmail message and a internally generated message in notification drawer and would reappear instantly as fast as I would clear them. I was very limited on where I could go on the the phone because I was being blocked by that screen demanding only my password. Normally,my picture and user name on standard Google signin would ask for me to sign in,but my browser automatically fills that in,so I just hit the login button. When mine happened,I had already been signed in,because I was setting up two factor account protection.
During the process, restore your iPad from your iTunes backup. Also read: Got any questions? Let us know in the comments below.
Note: When you purchase your iPhone, there is a default voicemail password that is set. This could be the last 4 digits of your social security number, or 1111, or 0000, or 1234. Setting up a voicemail password is always important due to security reasons. It helps prevent anyone from accessing your voicemail messages. As much as this is absolutely necessary, it reaches a time when, if you restore your iPhone, it will keep asking for a voicemail password over and over again. This could be very irritating especially if you have forgotten the password. This should however not worry you much as there are ways through which you can get over this.

It took about 5 seconds as Mail found my old account's information and created a new one. Immediately, I received 5 messages.
Anyone who is using Windows has no issue with it. One more thing to note is that when i downgrade my outlook to 2011 version. This thing improves even though still once or twice a day it asks for login and password. Can anyone please help?
Dave, How do I get Outlook to stop asking me for my network password every time I send an email? I just hooked up SBC Yahoo DSL. I finally was able to get emails to send out, but now this window keeps popping up. What’s the trick to solve this problem? I’ve been in that sort of situation, so I can commiserate. Fortunately, it’s not too hard to fix if you’re running Microsoft Outlook 2000 / Outlook XP. Here are the steps you’ll need to take: • Select Tools -> E-mail Accounts menu option.
I had this problem tonight on my iPad, but fixed it by upgrading to iOS 8.1.3, then going to Settings>Facebook and choosing Delete Account. Rather than getting stuck (the 'Cannot communicate with server' error), I was presented with a choice of what to do with Facebook links (I chose Merge, although Remove might have worked just as well). After that, I got a proper login screen for Facebook and all was well. Incredibly frustrating (especially after going through the Reset all Settings fiasco that didn't work), but the iOS upgrade did the trick.
• Then click “Next” or “OK” as necessary to confirm. That should be all that’s required for your copy of Microsoft Outlook to forevermore remember your password and let you use your new SBC Yahoo account without any fuss or hassles.
BTW - has anyone else noticed that there iCloud smtp server setting is missing in the mail app too? It's really strange because it shows up as 'iCloud' in the outgoing mail server setting on the 'Account Information' tab but when I select 'Edit SMTP Server List.' From the list, it's not in the edit pane. Very strange. FYI - this is all on a fresh install of Mountain Lion. I can get things working but I have to continually add and delete keychain references which is annoying. I have simular Issue on my Mac Book Pro Retina OSX 10.8.2 NO UPGRADES new out of the box had it for over a month.
It turns out the issue for me is that OSX has created 2 entries in the Calendar app for my Gmail account (even though I only have the account entered once under the Internet Accounts system pref). The Calendar app won't let me delete the duplicate since it thinks the duplicate is managed under the Internet Accounts pref. Deleting and re-adding the gmail account in Internet Accounts didn't help either.

It really appears that there is a bug in the way Apple has implemented the Mail/keychain interface. JenL - thanks for the tip - I don't use messages (have never opened it on my mac) but I will try your suggestion. I suppose it's possible that not initializing data there could be causing a problem? I would still classify this as a bug though.
Anddroid and iphone generation. Also checking Yahoo site only II. I own the first gen HTC Incredible, and it's a great phone overall. If you insist on getting it, here are some things to consider: 1. I don't know if they fixed this in a later version of the phone, but mine has an issue doing a complete charge. In fact, I have to fully charge the phone, take the power cable out, then charge the phone while it's off to get a complete charge. The keyboard isn't as big as some of the other Android based phones that I've seen. Other then that, the phone is outstanding. I have it rooted with Cynogen Mod v 6, which takes out a lot of the unnecessary stuff.
Once your device has been backed up, hit the Restore iPhone. After you have successfully restored your device, the issue would be gone and gone forever—hopefully! Ask if the modem (if provided by your ISP) or software you are using has a firewall feature. It is also possible that the ISP has certain ports blocked on their end. I have Symantec EndPoint on my mac and the firewall is OFF so that is not the issue. Mostlikely the issue has to do with the Mail App and it's a text file were the time out or some paramater needs to be updated.
