Today the latest version of SFB, 16.15.166, started crashing upon starting up. From what I can see on the detailed crash report the problem is related to an Secure HTTP (HTTPS) issue since that thread is the one crashing. I'm not running any VPN nor there is any other communication problem while accessing any other site on port 443. Let me know if the complete crash report is needed.

We are seeing the exact same problem with a handful of clients. Same version you are running (16.16.102 with 10.13.4) Started late last week as far as we can tell. Hi Craig, You may clear the cache and corrupted certificates in Skype for Business in the following folders: Users/Home Folder/Library/Caches/com.microsoft.Lync Users/Home Folder/Documents/Microsoft User Data/Microsoft Lync History Then o pen the Keychain Access certificate management utility. To do this, in Finder, click Applications, click Utilities, and then click Keychain Access. Or, search for Keychain Access by using Spotlight In the left pane, click login, and then click Certificates. In the right pane, find a certificate that's named Unknown or Communications Server, select it, and then delete it.

On a Mac client with Skype for Business I occasionally receive an error message when trying to send an IM to a co-worker. The error message is 'We couldn't send this message.' And it repeats the person I am sending it to along with the message. Interestingly, when I double click on the user in my contact window and open the chat window, the persons contact is listed purely as their email address (not their display name with the status light). This seems to be driven from a previous Cloud PBX phone call (see picture): However, if I delete all the old chats from the chat history/window, then double click on the contact again, a window shows up with the status light and display name: And in this window, I can send the message fine. It seems like when I place a SIP call (on a networked Polycom VVX Phone), a new contact shows in the history with the same email address, but someone a different identity, which, if course, can't receive the message. Any idea how to fix this?

If you know your old password, use that password to update your existing login keychain: • Open the, which is in the the Utilities folder of your Applications folder. • From the list of keychains on the left side of the window, select 'login.' • From the Edit menu in the menu bar, choose “Change Password for Keychain 'login.' ” • Enter the old password of your user account in the Current Password field. This is the password you were using before the password was reset. • Enter the new password of your user account in the New Password field. Dvd shrink.

If I put in the IP address of the internal server and our external address (though our federation/EDGE server is not yet working) I get the message 'We can't sign you in. Check your network connection and try signing in again.' So we don't have external access to SFB set up yet, but we have it working internally for all the Windows users. What am I missing to get this Mac Client up and running? (We don't use 365, we use Professional Plus).

The Mac client version available here? It’s still Lync for Mac 2011. Somebody didn’t do their update) So what do we have for our Mac friends? The new client is, I’d say, a fair and equitable companion to the Windows Skype for Business client. There are some differences, and (as of now) a few limitations. But overall, I think our Mac customers will enjoy this client very much. What the Mac Client Has You wouldn’t expect any Skype for Business client not to have all the basics.

Skype for Business Server 2015 with UCS disabled is the only currently supported Contact Management. I would also use ' login local' on you line con 0 as well. Well if you removed all the users that had privilege level 15 I guess you'll need to restart the switch to recover:) You'd think without an enable password or enable secret you could just 'enable' but obviously not:) Did you write the changes you made to memory? If not, the recovery is as simple as restarting the switch but if you did you may need to move the configuration aside, get enabled and then copy it back to the running configuration and of course then (while still enabled) add a way to get enabled again.

If the password is set to be saved: If they do not already exist, the OC_KeyContainer__username@company.com keychain and OC_KeyContainer__username@company.com password entry in the user’s login keychain are created when Lync connects to the Lync server. A Microsoft Lync password entry is also created in the user’s login keychain if one does not already exist. Once the Lync application is quit, the OC_KeyContainer__username@company.com keychain and application password entry persist and are not automatically deleted. On relaunch, Lync will look for and re-use the existing OC_KeyContainer__username@company.com keychain and OC_KeyContainer__username@company.com password entry. Rich, you’re a beast!

Hi Phil, Since I was the one who originally open this thread about a month and a half, I wanted to chime in. I'm also experiencing the problem since this morning. It crashes even on the background when not interacting with it. It'll stay up for maybe a couple of hours, then crash on its own.

• No initiating calls to Response Groups. • Call Park is not available. In terms of known issues, Microsoft has already published a list: One to note here: you can’t have both Lync for Mac and Skype for Business on Mac clients installed side-by-side.

One of my users ran into an issue recently when launching Microsoft Lync. When the Lync application logged into the Lync server, a Microsoft Lync wants to use OC_KeyContainer_username@company.com. Please enter the keychain password prompt appeared. The curious thing was that the keychain prompt would not accept the user’s current login password. When I checked, the user’s login keychain was unlocked and using the current password, so it didn’t appear to be caused by the login keychain password issues that I normally deal with.

I deleted all the entries (I had like 5 entries). Reopened Skype and then I was getting the 'Sign into your Exchange account to see your upcoming meetings'. I just signed in with my credentials and it's working now. I'm not sure if it stopped working when I last changed my password.

' check your network connection. Regards, Gorden.

In place of line vty 0 4 password transport input telnet line vty 5 15 password The above is from your configure, try this line vty 0 4 login local transport input telnet line vty 5 15 transport in none transport out none! Using 'login local' will tell the VTY lines you use to telnet into it with (and you should really only use SSH) to use the usernames and passwords configured as per above.
